Finally succumbed to Golf after years of shying away. Playing it the first time reaffirmed my suspiscions that its not meant for me (or vice verca). Went to the local course last weekend. My swing and all was pretty good and all but it just doesnt excite my sporting instincts. Pankaj mentioned that its a unique game in that you have to calm your mind rather that getting excited like other games. Well, I always thought that at a comptetive level, calm minds is what separates the men from the boys in any sport. All those 5-setter squash matches I played, its always the mentally strong player who takes the decider.
I am lately discovering that I am obsessing about time managemnt all the time, but am actually pretty bad at it. Really bad.
Some relief, Khuzema is a worse decision maker than me. I went with him for his India shopping and he couldnt make up his mind to buy a single thing in 2 hours.

golf is a long walk gone bad that's the best way to describe it, unless you go to a driving range, (not that it would be golf then). And there are much better ways to calm your mind than play golf, and if you are playing it for the sport, there must be some physical aspect to it right?

If you would spend less time reading blogs especially the *weird* kinds,(u know what I am talking about) then I think time management would not be such a big problem :-)
All in all, I suck at it too....contrary to popular notion....women r not that good at multitasking!
